My rings were done today and when I picked them up I was still able to fit them on my finger! I was relieved about that, because I really wasn't sure I'd be able to. And, even better, they now look all brand new again. I've been oogling my wedding bands all day today like I did as a new bride! :)
But then I locked myself and the kids out of the vehicle when we went to leave the jewelers. Thankfully, though, we all stayed calm and after going back inside to use their phone (My phone, the keys, and my purse were all in the truck. I tossed them in after unlocking the door and pushing the unlock button--or so I thought--I accidentally pushed lock instead and shut the door, effectively sealing the deal.) my husband swung through in his work vehicle and rescued us!
So despite that little incident, we had a pretty nice day today. The weather was even sunny and (fairly) warm--in the 50's. Plus, today felt like Friday for me all day because Lance took off work for Holy Thursday and Good Friday. :)
