To Everything Turn! Turn! Turn!

There is a season Turn! Turn! Turn!

I, for one, have been living in adamant denial of the grim reality that summer is over, the weather is 50 degrees (rainy!) and fall has officially begun. It's getting harder and harder to do, though, when this is what our front yard looks like (a week ago!) and today I turned the calendar page to October. Yeowch.

So in my attempts at embracing the changing seasons wholeheartedly, the boys and I had fun creating this festive leaf project.

There isn't a nice page I can link to for this project, but it's really simple. Just have fun hunting for favorite leaves (we did three each and I was the only one who chose anything but maple!), give everyone two sheets of waxed paper. Glue the leaves to the bottom piece, and then put glue and glitter on the topside of the leaves (we used our glitter/glue pens) and then the other sheet of waxed paper. Cut out, affix yarn/string/ribbon, and, finally, adorn your home and get psyched that it's fall!
