That'd be a relatively accurate description of the past couple of weeks. And as a result, I've got an entire book to (try to) read before my bookclub meeting on the night of the 30th. Plus, I've got a few knitting projects going that I'd love to work on and finish, but it's (nearly) impossible to read and knit at the same time (I've tried) and my free time is what they would call *limited* or *precious little*.
This is also an attempt at an explanation for my rarely-seen presence here on the ol' blog. (Which is evidenced by the fact that we're now into the Christmas season and we still have the Thanksgiving theme going on!)
Also, we exposed our children to the virus that causes chicken pox via my Gramma's recent outbreak of shingles. So we're waiting and seeing.
We're on our fourth week of "Lessons" now and for every day that we don't do a formal lesson Wideawake puts in a request at least a couple of times a day! I love that! So, needless to say, it's been going really well and we've both been enjoying it.
Is anybody else really messed up about the fact that tomorrow is Sunday and NOT Monday??
Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Until next time, cheerio! Here's hoping I'll get this blog through it's seasonal change before springtime!
Oh! And my baby, Cuddlebug, has been breaking my heart and making it swell up all at the same time in this past (his sixth) month. Tomorrow he'll be seven months old and he's started sitting, scooting, getting up on his hands and knees and rocking, and today I felt that his first tooth has broken through. What is this baby-lovin' momma to do? I'll probably have a meltdown for you all to read when he eats solids for the first time in the next coming days. (Yes, I've been putting that off. Can you tell? I can't help it. He's growing up too fast.)
Totally unrelated thought: Has anyone else discovered the Pioneer Woman's recipes and for the sake of health and size wish they hadn't? Dang! Why do they all have to be so good? Maybe it's a good thing I didn't get her cookbook for Christmas.....

I love her recipes too - and she's so petite, it's not fair!! The only thing you can do about your baby growing up too fast is to have another :)
