A House, A First, And A Giveaway!

It really is amazing to me how these buildings that started so simply have graduated into structures like this. Sometimes the disarray is a little tough for me to get along with, but overall I enjoy seeing what they are able to construct.

And this is the first-ever lost tooth in our family! It's crazy how exciting it is for everyone and how much it can make a parent reflect on the fast years since the child was a baby.

He chose to store (and keep) his tooth in his shoebox.

And lastly, I'd suggest a trip over to Small Things because my friend Ginny is hosting a great giveaway!

  1. What a big boy already! I think I'm going to pass on showing the kids the fort pictures to possibly avoid chairs and our tall stools on our tables as well:)

  2. Cool house! My friend Staci told me about something she was going to sew for her daughter's birthday. The idea is fairly simple: it's a tent for the dining table. So I think I'll start with an old sheet, measure, plan, and sew until it fits exactly. Then, anytime someone wants to build a fort, we whip this puppy out, drape it over the table, and voila! a tent! (fort, whatever)
