Funny! I can't believe the baby is that big already! I've not been good about reading blogs lately; seems whenever I begin, someone needs something--even during quiet time!
Thanks, Aubrey; it's great to hear from you! He's one now! I've been awful at keeping up with blogs for awhile now, too, (mine and everybody else's) but am trying to catch back up a little.
I was just mixing up a batch of no-knead bread but was having to do it as quickly as possible while he was occupied in the cupboard. BUT, this was what I found when I turned around. Funny how just those couple of uninterrupted minutes can be so costly! But at least I got the bread raising (and the messes got cleaned eventually). What a workout!!
I find that in order to clean a mess, I have to allow a mess to be made. Sometimes I wonder what the point of cleaning up is. And yes, messes always seem to be made while I cook!
Your comment on "Badger Catholic" lead me to your blog. I have added you onto our blog, "Sacra Domus Nazrena"...the blog for the Institute of Saint Joseph, a Public Association of the Diocese of La Crosse...our membership includes consecrated married people. And you have our icon of the Sacred Heart of Jesus we wrote for Archbishop Burke for the Diocese. Wonderful blog! Fr. John Mary, ISJ
My husband and I have now been married for ten years! We have been blessed with three wonderful little boys, one darling daughter, and are doing our best to raise them in and according to our Roman Catholic faith.

ReplyDeleteOut of curiosity, what was the mess for?
